Perks!</span></strong><span> </span></span></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <ul> <li><span><span>Competitive salary</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Company vehicle + fuel card</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Excellent benefit package with premiums paid by the company</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Uniform, safety boots/shoes, safety gear provided</span></span></li> <li><span><span>RRSP Match</span><span> </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Safety-minded organization</span><span> </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Stable, year-round employment</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Continuous training, learning and development opportunities</span><span> </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Fun-loving work environment with strong social responsibility</span><span> </span></span></li> </ul><p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p> <p><em>Duties and Responsibilities:</em></p> <ul> <li>Lead, manage and mentor employees to develop a high-performing and cohesive team</li> <li>Work together with the People and Culture Team to effectively resolve internal staff conflicts, and to ensure employees have access to available resources</li> <li>Participate in the hiring, onboarding and training of new employees</li> <li>Conduct annual performance evaluations, provide regular performance feedback and coaching, and implement disciplinary measures as required</li> <li>Follow and enforce all safety initiatives and policies, and champion the company safety culture</li> <li>Delegate responsibilities and oversee branch operations</li> <li>Collaborate with internal teams across the organization to ensure top-quality customer service at all stages of the rental process</li> <li>Work closely with all levels of the organization to ensure a team-based approach to problem solving</li> <li>Focus on keeping fleet rental ready through establishing efficient and effective shop flow</li> <li>Supervise mechanics to ensure priorities are being set and preventative maintenance schedule is being followed</li> <li>Make recommendations to management regarding rental fleet inventory</li> <li>Manage branch costs and ensure budget adherence, including monitoring monthly profit and loss (P&L) to track financial performance, identifying areas for improvement</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Bring to the Team</strong></p> <p><em>Qualifications and Requirements:</em></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the equipment rental industry, construction industry or a closely related field</li> <li>Preferably at least 2-3 years of prior experience leading a team</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Highly professional with exceptional customer service skills</li> <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and experience using PowerBI is an asset</li> <li>Strong leadership and people management skills</li> <li>Post-secondary education is an asset but is not required</li> <li>Valid Class G Driver's license with satisfactory abstract</li> <li>Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills</li> <li>Familiarity with financial statements, profit and loss (P&L) management, and budget oversight</li> <li>Pride in what you do!</li> </ul><p><span>Want to learn more about this as well
