Exciting opportunities and challenges await self-motivated and flexible team players willing to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.In this role, you will be responsible for performing manual and semi-skilled tasks related to the custodial care and maintenance of parks, recreational areas, and public washrooms. You must be able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions is required, and physical fitness is essential. Strong customer service skills are also important, as the role involves interacting with the public and external agencies in a professional, tactful, and diplomatic manner.Qualifications: A valid Class 5 BC Driver?s Licence with a clean driving record is required. Candidates must submit a current Driver?s Abstract showing a five-year history with their application. Previous custodial experience is an asset.The City of Delta provides a competitive salary of $34.04 per hour (2024 Rate).
