*Purpose *
This position is responsible for the overall coordination of administrative functions related to the daily operations of the Hartwig Industries Inc group of companies and will ensure efficient operation of the office. The duties will also be carried out in keeping with the goals, objectives, values, policies and procedures of Hartwig Industries Inc.

*Position Deliverables*
This position reports to the CEO, but will provide additional support to the Controller and Project Manager, as directed.
*Provide administrative support* to the CEO as needed (including but not limited to) writing outgoing correspondence and emails; monitoring email inbox and calendar; spreadsheet creation for industry studies; maintain digital and manual filing systems.
*Provide ongoing administrative* assistance to the Controller and Property Manager
as required. In their absence, provides relief coverage of duties as assigned.
*Assist the Controller* with accounts receivable and payable plus banking and other duties as assigned.
*Assist the Property Manager* with tenant services for commercial property needs; coordinating service contracts for services like cleaning, maintenance, and security; Handling tenant issues; and providing customer service;
*Participate in staff meetings* and team building among staff.
*Communicate with maintenance team* as directed by Property Manager; responding to trouble calls; coordinating repairs and renovations
*Interact with customers* and clients in a professional manner.
*Open incoming mail*, send and receive courier packages.
*Qualification Criteria*
* Experience in an administrative role reporting directly to upper management
* Valid drivers license and vehicle
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
* Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects
* Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and an aptitude for learning new software and systems. Experience in Sage 50 an asset.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to the company and its employees
*Summary*
As a Part-Time Experienced Office Assistant, you will support daily administrative operations and contribute to the efficiency of our office environment.
