*Job Overview* We are a new café focusing on providing a delicious and diverse menu throughout the day, from breakfast to dinner. Our menu includes pancakes, crepes, waffles, wraps, sandwiches, pasta, and more. We are looking for a talented and passionate cook/chef to join our team who can help us deliver high-quality meals with great presentation and flavor. *Job Responsibilities:* * Prepare and cook a variety of dishes including breakfast items (pancakes, crepes, waffles, etc.), sandwiches, wraps, and pasta for lunch and dinner service. * Ensure consistency and quality in every dish served. * Create and maintain an efficient workflow to serve customers in a timely manner. * Collaborate with the café management to develop new menu items and specials. * Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization. * Ensure all food preparation and storage meets food safety standards. * Follow portion control, presentation specifications, and cooking techniques. * Manage inventory, including receiving orders and minimizing waste. *Requirements:* * 2+ years of experience as a cook or chef in a similar role (breakfast and lunch focus). * Ability to prepare a variety of dishes quickly and efficiently. * Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper kitchen hygiene. * Food Safety Handler Certification (mandatory). * Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. * Creativity and passion for cooking, with a desire to develop unique dishes. * Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, and occasional evenings as needed. *Experience* * Experience in a café, restaurant, or similar setting. * Ability to work well in a team. * Strong attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. *Benefits:* * Competitive salary based on experience. * Opportunities for professional growth and menu input. * Positive, team-oriented work environment. * Flexible work schedule. * Discounted or free food Join Miss Bean Café for a creative, team-oriented atmosphere with growth opportunities, flexible schedules, and a focus on quality dishes!
