Work Term: Permanent Work Language: Bilingual Hours: 40 to 70 hours per week Education: Other trades certificate or diploma Experience: 1 to less than 7 months or equivalent experience Tasks Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform brake adjustments Perform emergency roadside repairs Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Receive and relay information to central dispatch Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Driver's License (Class 1 or A) Documentation knowledge Accident or incident reports Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) Maintenance and repair reports Trans-border documentation Type of trucking and equipment Tractor-trailer Transportation/travel experience International Long-haul Security and safety Valid passport Criminal record check Driver's validity- LocationSaint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC
