We are seeking professional and experienced *Security Guards* to join our team for a part-time position in Woodstock, Ontario. This role is integral to maintaining the safety and security of a retail environment, focusing on minimizing product loss, preventing theft, and creating a safe experience for customers and staff. *Key Responsibilities:* - Conduct regular patrols to monitor and secure the premises. - Operate security systems, including CCTV and EAS, to identify potential threats. - Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, including theft and emergencies. - Enforce security protocols and access controls discreetly. - Use conflict resolution techniques to de-escalate situations effectively. - Provide assistance and support to customers and employees while maintaining a professional demeanour. - Maintain detailed logs and incident reports to support loss prevention and enhance security measures. *Requirements:* - Valid *Ontario Security Guard Licence* (required). - Proven experience in retail security or loss prevention. - Strong conflict resolution and crisis management skills. - Ability to respond quickly and act decisively in emergencies. - Excellent observational skills and attention to detail. - Physically fit for frequent patrols and incident response. - Reliable, professional, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. *Preferred Qualifications:* - Residence in Woodstock or within a 30-minute commute. *Compensation:* - $20.00/hour - Shifts: 5 hours, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.
