Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Tasks: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems. Perform scheduled maintenance service. Complete reports to record problems and work performed. Coach and instruct apprentices. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement. Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate. Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Drive manual transmission vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Overtime required. Personal suitability: Dependability. Reliability. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
