*Account Manager*
The Account Manager requires a dynamic professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experienced in managing client relationships within pop-culture and national accounts. Key responsibilities include identifying growth opportunities, resolving client issues, and collaborating with internal teams. An asset for this role is a background in apparel, home goods, and accessories, coupled with strategic thinking, sales acumen, and adaptability. A proven track record in client management and a solid understanding of industry trends are essential for success.
*Responsibilities:*
*Client Relationship Management:*
* Serve as the primary point of contact for key retail accounts, fostering positive relationships and understanding their unique business needs.
* Conduct regular meetings and communications with clients to review sales performance, discuss product assortments, and address any concerns or issues.
*Sales and Merchandising:*
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
* Analyze market trends and consumer preferences to optimize product assortments and merchandising strategies.
* Coordinate with internal teams (design, production, and logistics) to ensure timely delivery and availability of products to meet client demands.
*Account Planning and Forecasting:*
* Collaborate with clients to develop annual business plans and sales forecasts based on historical data and market trends.
* Monitor sales performance against forecasted targets and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve goals.
*New Business Development:*
* Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the client base through new business development and prospecting efforts.
* Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand competitive landscape to position products effectively.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in account management or sales, within the apparel industry.
* Minimum of 1 Year Sales Experience with Canadian National Accounts
* Apparel Sales Experience is a plus.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Creative problem solver with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
* Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and events.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
