Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Commercial dental laboratory. Tasks: Design dental devices. Fabricate and repair crowns, bridges or implants. Computer-aided design (CAD). Area of specialization: Crowns and bridges. Ceramic or porcelain application. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Ability to distinguish between colours. Sitting.
