Job details
*Duties* * Leads guests to the Front Desk and or to other requested destination in the hotel. * Greet all guests entering and departing from the hotel. (Open doors) * Respond to inquiries with accurate information regarding hours of outlet operation, directions to local attractions and restaurants. * Become familiar with all room types, room amenities and Hotel facilities to be able to provide tour of the hotel * Performing the daily tasks according to hotel standards, and those set forth by the management team. * Ensures the Bell desk and adjacent public area's are kept in pristine condition. * Valet park cars for hotel. Maintain car keys at the Bell desk. * Maintaining the luggage cart *Requirements* * Previous valet and guest contact experience preferred. * Must have a positive attitude at all times. * Must be 21 years of age. * Ability to work and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. * Highly organized. * Must be able to work outside in working conditions for long periods of time. * Must understand and obey driving laws and regulations. * Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, etc. when needed. * Must have excellent hearing and vision. * Must have clean driving record. * Be cordial, efficient and professional in guest contact, at all times maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction * Maintain a pleasant and positive personality * Strong organizational and communication skills * Ability to work quickly, particularly when guest demands are high, with great attention to detail Job Types: Part-time, Casual Pay: $17.40-$19.04 per hour Schedule: * 8 hour shift Work Location: In person- LocationVancouver, BC
