Encore Drywall Material Supplies has decades of experience in the gypsum, insulation, and steel distribution business throughout Canada. Encore is specifically looking for people in the GTA, as well as the Trenton and surrounding area. Encore has acquired a strategic partnership with CSR Building Supplies and will operate the building supply division of the company, while the ownership group of CSR, focuses on growing their innovative tool operation. With this acquisition, as well as a brand-new greenfield branch in Trenton Ontario, Encore is poised for growth. We are excited to offer many opportunities for employment within the organization. As a leading provider of high-quality drywall materials and supplies, we pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, strong relationships, and a commitment to safety. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role within our organization. *Key Requirements* * Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently * Load and unload trucks of drywall and various building materials * Move materials to and from storage areas and production areas * Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues * Maintain a clean and organized work environment * Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies * Assist with inventory management and cycle counts * Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals * Abiding by all Health and Safety Regulations as laid out by Encore Drywall Material Supplies * Other duties as assigned *Qualifications* * Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations * Ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying weather conditions * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * Attention to detail and strong organizational skills * Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed * Proven ability to work independently with strong attention to detail * Warehouse background with exposure to WHIMIS an asset * Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic * Forklift certification and experience as asset *What We Offer:* · Competitive hourly wage and benefits package · Opportunities for professional development and career advancement. · A supportive and collaborative work environment · The chance to be a part of a company that values our employees, our customers and safety above all Encore Drywall Material Supplies is an equal opportunity employer.
