Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit. Discuss work with supervisor. Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions. Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions. Inspect motor in operation. Review work orders . Test automotive systems and components. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems. Perform scheduled maintenance service. Test and adjust units to specifications. Complete reports to record problems and work performed. Apprenticeship training: Level two apprenticeship training. Level three apprenticeship training. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Dependability. Reliability. Team player. Punctuality. Screening questions: Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
