*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our thriving pediatric clinic. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in helping children improve their communication skills, reach developmental milestones, and achieve greater confidence in daily interactions. Your expertise will support children with diverse needs, including speech and language delays, social communication challenges, and feeding or swallowing difficulties, through individualized, evidence-based interventions.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, social communication, and feeding/swallowing skills.
* Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child?s specific needs and goals.
* Apply evidence-based strategies to foster skill development in areas such as articulation, language comprehension, expressive language, fluency, and pragmatic communication.
* Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and educators to create a supportive and inclusive experience across all environments.
* Document therapy sessions and monitor progress in compliance with professional and organizational standards.
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, which may include supervising and working alongside Communicative Disorder Assistants (CDAs).
* Stay up-to-date with emerging practices and research to ensure that all interventions are evidence-based, neuro-affirming, and trauma-informed.
*Requirements*
* Master?s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
* Current registration and good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
* Experience with pediatric speech and language assessment and intervention.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Ability to adapt therapy to each child?s unique needs and design creative, engaging activities.
* Previous experience in a pediatric setting is highly desirable.
*Compensation and Contract Details*
This is an independent contractor position, which means that while you are not an employee, the role is intended to be *ongoing with no predetermined end date*. The contract is designed to be flexible and continuous, with *compensation based on the number of visits completed*. Our compensation rate is very competitive to attract top-tier talent, with potential for additional earnings based on the candidate?s qualifications, experience and expertise. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 10 ? 40 per week
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
* Weekends as needed
