Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Compute dimensions, sizes, shapes and tolerances of workpieces . Inspect final products. Set up machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and grinders. Verify machined parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Apprenticeship training: Pre-apprenticeship training. Level one apprenticeship training. Level two apprenticeship training. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots. Screening questions: Are you currently a student?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?.
