*About us* Kirshen Dental is a small business in Richmond Hill, ON. We are professional, agile, and our goal is to Work in a team environment to provide excellent patient care. Our work environment includes: * Modern office setting * Food provided A dental hygienist's goal is to improve patients' oral health as well as educate them on how to maintain that health. To do this, hygienists remove tartar and plaque from tooth surfaces, apply fluoride and sealants, and provide patients with other treatments to prevent oral diseases. While doing this, they must be able to educate patients on how to properly care for their teeth between appointments. Responsibilities: * Clean teeth and instruct dental patients in oral hygiene. * Use X-ray machines to help diagnose dental problems. * Clean teeth and remove plaque and tartar with specialized instruments. * Educate patients about proper oral hygiene and diet. * Perform periodontal maintenance to prevent gum disease. * Conduct oral cancer exams and take biopsies if needed. * Communicate with dentists, specialists, hygienists, and patients. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Language training provided * On-site parking Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Night shift Ability to commute/relocate: * Richmond Hill, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Dental Hygienist License (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-01-07- LocationRichmond Hill, ON
