We are looking for someone to manage 4-6 employees and control inbound and outbound meat products. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 6:00am Start time, Wednesday and Fridays 3:00am as well as every other Saturday at 7:00am. Would be working in a cold environment that can be very fast pace at time. Must be able to think on the fly and handle stressful situations. *Summary* As a Warehouse Manager, you will oversee daily operations within the warehouse, ensuring efficient order fulfillment and inventory management. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will utilize your core skills in heavy lifting and order picking, while leveraging premium skills such as forklift operation and warehouse management systems. Your role is vital in maintaining safety standards and optimizing workflow. With relevant experience in packaging and load/unload processes, you will lead a team to achieve operational excellence and drive productivity in a fast-paced environment. *Responsibilities* * Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient order picking and fulfillment. * Manage inventory levels, including load and unload processes, to maintain optimal stock. * Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and cranes safely and effectively. * Train and supervise warehouse staff on best practices and safety protocols. * Implement and maintain warehouse management systems to streamline distribution processes. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the warehouse. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in warehouse management and operations * Strong skills in heavy lifting and order picking * Proficiency in operating forklifts, cranes, and reach trucks * Familiarity with warehouse distribution and order fulfillment processes * Mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy equipment operation * Ability to effectively manage packaging and load/unload activities Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 ? 56 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Paid time off Schedule: * 10 hour shift * Every Weekend * Overtime Experience: * Meat: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person
