<p>You will play a key role in supervising night operations, reporting to the Plant Manager.</p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Plan and assign daily tasks, set priorities and monitor work progress to meet production targets.</li><li>Maintain fluid communication with the day team to ensure an efficient transition and operational continuity.</li><li>Promote safety practices, ensuring the proper use of PPE and compliance with company guidelines.</li><li>Supervise welding, assembly and polishing operations, ensuring their compliance with quality plans and standards.</li><li>Analyze non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive measures.</li><li>Support health and safety initiatives, collaborate with the dedicated committee and establish control measures to reduce incidents.</li><li>Ensure safe and quality manufacturing of products by implementing production standard verification systems.</li><li>Promote a culture of continuous improvement by applying 5S principles and actively involving employees in these processes.</li><li>Train, motivate and support team members so that they reach their full potential.</li><li>Identify manufacturing defects and act quickly to correct deviations.</li><li>Participate in the development of solutions and initiatives to improve existing processes.</li><li>Perform other tasks in support of the needs of the company.</li></ul><p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p><ul><li>2 years of supervisory experience.</li><li>3 years of experience in TIG welding, assembly and polishing.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret plans, schematics and manufacturing orders.</li><li>Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement approaches.</li><li>Asserted leadership, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills in French.</li></ul><p></p><p>This position is intended for a motivated and proactive person, ready to take on the challenges of a dynamic environment and to actively contribute to the success of the production team.</p><p><em>Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.</em></p><p><em>We subscribe to the principle of employment equity.</em></p>- LocationMontréal, QC
