This role is ideal for those who are passionate about building, maintaining, and creating with their hands. *Duties* * Assist experienced tradespeople in carpentry tasks, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials. * Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks. * Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements. * Perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and material estimates. * Participate in welding activities as needed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly. * Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and find solutions during projects. * Continuously learn new skills and techniques related to the trade through hands-on experience. *Requirements* * Basic knowledge of carpentry principles is preferred but not mandatory. * Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and their safe operation. * Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively. * Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. * Mechanical knowledge or aptitude for understanding how tools and machines operate. * Willingness to learn from experienced professionals and take direction. * Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety on the job site. * Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
