*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing systems, demonstrating a strong ability to install, maintain, and repair various plumbing fixtures and systems. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanical systems, as well as proficiency with hand and power tools. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work is completed efficiently and in compliance with local codes and regulations. *Responsibilities* * Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. * Assemble and install various plumbing components using appropriate tools and techniques. * Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or areas needing maintenance. * Utilize basic math skills to calculate measurements and material requirements accurately. * Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete plumbing tasks. * Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters or HVAC technicians, to ensure integrated system functionality. * Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and working in various environments. * Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations. *Qualifications* * Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role within the plumbing industry. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. * Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus but not required. * Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. * Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. * Valid plumbing license or certification may be required based on local regulations.
