You will play a pivotal role in coordinating field activities, supervising teams, and driving productivity while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and timelines. Your expertise in managing subcontractors, resources, and schedules will be instrumental in delivering exceptional results that align with project goals and client expectations. *Key Responsibilities* * *Lead and Supervise*: Direct all on-site construction activities, ensuring teams work collaboratively to meet project milestones. * *Plan and Execute*: Develop and implement detailed schedules and work plans that align with project goals. * *Ensure Safety and Compliance*: Uphold the highest safety standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations and protocols. * *Foster Communication*: Act as the main point of contact between field staff, project management, clients, and subcontractors. * *Problem Solve*: Quickly identify challenges and implement solutions to keep projects on track. * *Track Progress*: Maintain accurate records of site activities, resource allocation, and daily reports to inform stakeholders. * *Drive Results*: Take ownership of the site?s success, delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. *What You Bring to the Team* Education: * Journeyperson certificate in Sheet Metal. Experience: * 5+ years in a HVAC superintendent role. * 10+ years in mechanical industrial or commercial settings. Skills: * *HVAC Systems Installation* ? In-depth knowledge of installing and maintaining HVAC systems. * *Code Compliance* ? Familiarity with local, provincal, and national plumbing codes (e.g., NBC, SMACNA, OSHA regulations). * *Team Supervision* ? Experience in leading and managing sheet metal crews and subcontractors. * *Training and Development* ? Ability to train and mentor junior sheetmetqal and apprentices. * *Problem Solving* ? Strong skills in troubleshooting and resolving on-site issues. * *Scheduling and Coordination* ? Expertise in organizing labour, materials, and timelines for efficiency. * *Safety Compliance* ? Commitment to enforcing workplace safety standards and conducting safety training and leading by example. * *Documentation* ? Ability to prepare reports, change orders, and project updates and tracking accurately. Provide input into final turnover package. * *Conflict Resolution* ? Competence in handling disputes and ensuring collaborative teamwork. *Salary & Benefits Package* Salary: * $45.50/Hr with time and half (1.5x) after 40 hours.
