Job details
Full-time Responsibilities include: * To work as part of a team in a residential program * Supervision and monitoring of clients * Teach Functional living skills * Behaviour Management * Assist clients with daily routines and personal care * Plan/ Implement individualized programs that encompass a person-centred approach * Provide community orienteering and leisure activity * Conduct appointments * Administer medication * Data collection and documentation * Shared responsibility for cooking/ household tasks * Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records * Participate in all scheduled staff training programs * Hours of work are based on a schedule that includes weekends and evenings Qualifications/Experience: * Post-secondary certificate in CYW, DSW, SSW, or equivalent and/or related University degree/ experience * Knowledge and experience in Mental Health, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Developmental Challenges * CPI training an asset * Good team building skills * Good interactive/ communication skills (verbal and written) * Good organization and time management skills * Driver's License an asset to assist with appointments, community programming, etc Oakdale Child and Family Service values diversity in the workplace.
