We?re looking for a motivated *full-time, permanent Sales Representative* to join our team located in Exshaw, Alberta, providing market presence for innovative timber construction systems in Western Canada. The main responsibilities will be driving business growth for timber framed products specializing in timber industrial warehouses and other timber products by driving relationships and sales. At WPTF we combine traditional German and Canadian timber frame joinery and materials with the latest in technology and innovation on the worldwide market. Together with high standards in green building, efficiency, and sustainability, we create legacy buildings and structures. *Main Activities* * Manage and seek out new business opportunities through networking, lead generation and prospecting * Develop a deep understanding of our mass timber framing products and services to effectively communicate their value proposition * Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing the sales and post-sale follow-up * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, builders, all levels of customers * Travel to customers to connect, present and sell product * Present estimates and project timelines created by the estimating team * Complete market analysis about industry trends, competitor activities and market dynamics * Track sales performance, prepare regular reports and analyze key metrics * Manage and attend trade shows across Western Canada *Experience & Qualifications* * Completed Diploma or Degree in Business is an asset * Experience in mass timber and construction is an asset * 5-7 years of experience in construction sales * Strong communication and negotiation skills * Excellent attention to detail and organization skills * Ability to work independently and work as part of a team * A passion for sustainable building and a keen eye for detail * Valid driver?s license and own transportation required *What We Offer* * A positive work environment with the opportunity to grow * Opportunity to work with an innovative, collaborative, eager and fun team * Hybrid opportunity to work with Woodpecker * Highly competitive wages plus commission for the right candidate * Full extended benefits package available after 6 months * 3 weeks? vacation weeks Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $72,000.00-$75,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Commission pay Benefits: * Dental care * Paid time off Ability to commute/relocate: * Exshaw, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * sales: 5 years (preferred) * Construction: 4 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Exshaw, AB
