*Job Summary* The Youth Worker plays a vital role in supporting and guiding young individuals in their personal and social development. This position involves working closely with youth in a Christian environment, to foster a safe and nurturing environment. The Youth Worker will educate, mentor, and empower young people to reach their full potential while promoting positive behaviors and life skills. *Duties* * Spend time with youth during drop in hours. * Foster a supportive environment that encourages participation, self-expression, and personal growth. * Facilitate recreational activities that promote teamwork, communication, and social skills. * Assist the Program Director and Executive Director when needed. (ex. help impliment daily programming, assist at fundraisers, plan an occasional Bible Study) *Experience* * Prior experience working with children or youth in a church, educational or recreational settings is preferred. * Must live a healthy lifestyle. * Strong communication skills to effectively engage with youth, families, and colleagues. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. * A passion for making a positive impact in the lives of young people through education and mentorship. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 14 ? 19 per week Schedule: * Evening shift * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationMeadow Lake, SK
