Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Community service organization. Tasks: Interview client individually, in families, or in groups, to assess their situation and problems to determine the types of services required . Prepare detailed plans for clients returning home after a stay in a rehabilitation centre. Perform administrative tasks. Refer clients to agencies that provide financial assistance, legal aid, housing, medical treatment and other services. Conduct social research. Develop prevention and intervention programs to meet community needs. Target audience: Elderly. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent written communication. Interpersonal awareness. Values and ethics. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.- LocationRevelstoke, BC
