<p>The welder, under the supervision of his team leader, welds and assembles steel and aluminum equipment</p><p><strong>Tasks and responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Weld using the semi-automatic process using operational procedures while respecting the required quality standard;</li><li>Perform uniform welds of variable lengths;</li><li>Perform welds in three different positions (flat, horizontal and downward);</li><li>Check the appearance of the weld bead and the absence of porosity;</li><li>Organize the time allocated to welding in order to optimize productivity;</li><li>Handle filler products, bins, tools and equipment carefully and safely with the help of the overhead crane;</li><li>Maintain your work area safe and clean;</li><li>Perform all other tasks inherent to the position.</li></ul><p><strong>Required skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge and mastery of the semi-automatic process;</li><li>Good manual dexterity;</li><li>Precise and rapid manual-visual coordination;</li><li>Good perception of shapes to detect slight differences in the product;</li><li>Rigor and concern for a job well done;</li><li>Collaboration and team spirit;</li><li>Compliance with health and safety rules.</li></ul><p><strong>Languages</strong></p><ul><li>French spoken and written - Poor</li></ul><p><strong>Training</strong></p><ul><li>Diploma of professional studies (DEP), Metallurgy - Welding - Assembly</li><li>Certificate of professional specialization (ASP), Metallurgy - Welding - Assembly</li></ul><p><strong>Experience</strong></p><ul><li>1 to 5 years</li></ul><p><strong>Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Endurance</li><li>Attendance and punctuality</li><li>Versatility</li></ul>- LocationMontréal, QC
