*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. This position requires a strong background in acute care and pediatrics, along with a commitment to enhancing patient outcomes through medication management. *Duties* * Review and interpret physician orders to ensure accurate medication dispensing. * Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans. * Monitor patient medication therapy for safety and efficacy. * Administer medications as required and ensure proper documentation. * Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and medication administration. * Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in pharmacotherapy. * Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department. *Qualifications* * Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution. * Active pharmacist license in the state of practice. * Knowledge of pediatric medication administration is highly desirable. * Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmacology. * Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care. * Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
