*_Full time Chef_* We are looking for a dynamic individual to assume the role of chef. If you have a passion for food, and the drive to excel, then this job may be just what your looking for. Looking for someone who is creative and has a huge passion for food. *_Requirements:_* \* Have a minimum of 2 years high volume kitchen management experience \* Have a strong understanding of food cost, labor cost and inventory control management \* Have strong leadership skills \* Red Seal preferred \* Plan budgets, healthy menus for 30 - 40 people at any one setting \* Responsible for food ordering, cooking and budgeting \* Develop and maintain quality standards that exceed guest expectations \* Develop menus, cost analysis, and recipes consistent with the facility's objectives, themes and guest requirements. \* Develop and support operational heart-of-house policies and procedures. \* Be able to work weekends, holidays or as the business demands \* Have your own transportation \* Police clearance \* Fluent English Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $47,000.00-$62,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * On call * Overtime * Weekends as needed Application question(s): * Do you have red Seal Experience: * sous chef: 1 year (preferred) * chef: 3 years (required) * cooking: 3 years (required) Work Location: In person- LocationAurora, ON
