<p><b><span>With a career at The Home Depot, you can be yourself and also be part of something bigger.</span></b><br> </p><p><b>Position Purpose: </b></p><p><br>The purpose of this role is to support the implementation of Financial Services Initiatives, including digital payments transformation, contactless payment solutions, and enhancements to e-commerce payment options such as Buy-Now-Pay-Later. Additionally, you will contribute to key PRO initiatives like Trade Credit and the Credit Line Accommodation Program. This position involves collaborating on cross-functional projects and preparing strategic financial analyses that will inform business decisions and drive organizational performance into the future.</p><p></p><p><b>Position Responsibilities: </b></p><ul><li>Analyze information and develop reports to drive the business and to improve sales and profitability.</li><li>Prepare financial analysis and forecasts for the use in the development of financial business decisions.</li><li>Liaise with internal and external business partners in divisional and corporate offices to ensure an effective communication process.</li><li>Work directly with store and field resources.</li><li>Participate in budget preparations and analysis.</li><li>Maintain company records in accordance with general accounting principles.</li><li>Ensure accuracy and integrity of the reporting systems.</li><li>Provide analysis that adds value to the business and allows for the making of strategically sound decisions.</li><li>In coordination with other departments, conduct special financial and statistical studies.</li><li>Work with merchandising to develop analysis to drive the business.</li></ul><p><b>Knowledge/Experience Required: </b></p><ul><li>Must fulfill minimum time-in-position (1 year) and performance management code requirements M+</li><li>3 to 5 years of Financial/Accounting experience</li><li>Must have a Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.</li><li>Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.</li><li>Bilingual (English/French) an asset.</li><li>SQL experience an asset.</li><li>Demonstrate expertise in business analysis and financial modeling</li><li>Self-starter, efficient, organized and able to produce high quality work under pressure and in a timely fashion.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and attentive to details.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.</li><li>Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility and confidentiality.</li><li>Flexible in attitude and approach to business solutions.</li></ul>- LocationToronto, ON
