Master's of Education in Teacher-Librarianship, Master Library and Information Studies (MUS) or Diploma in Teacher-Librarianship and successful experience as a Teacher-Librarian.<p>? Experience and/or willingness to learn the skills necessary to plan, implement, and oversee the development of a school wide program for Media & Technology in our school library.<p>? Demonstrated ability and experience in collaborating with teachers to improve instructional practice in literacy.<p>? Ability to manage a resource collection using curricular and student interests to identify and obtain library materials, organize, and maintain the library collection to promote independent reading and lifelong learning.<p>? Collaboration skills in order to support classroom teachers in fostering independent learners by teaching research, information literacy, technology, communication, and critical thinking skills.<p>? Demonstrated strong interest in, knowledge and understanding of literature and be able to share passion for books and learning with students.<p>? Familiarity with a wide variety of literacy approaches, strategies, and methods of assessment.<p>? Demonstrated excellent listening, speaking, presentation and writing skills.<p>? Ability to maintain and troubleshoot the library computers, printers, and server.<p>?
