Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. Food science. Physical sciences, general. Office management and supervision. Work site environment: Chicken farming. Poultry and egg production. Tasks: Conduct artificial insemination and spraying or shearing of livestock or disinfecting pens, barns or poultry houses. Develop specific plans to prioritize. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs. Hire and train staff. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Perform general farm duties. Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
