*Job Summary* We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be *located in the Greater Toronto Area* and have a strong background in design principles and a passion for transforming spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their vision, developing design concepts, and overseeing the implementation of projects from start to finish. *Senior Interior Designer ? Job Requirements (Ontario/GTA candidate) * *Education & Experience:* * Bachelor?s degree or diploma in Interior Design. * Minimum of 4+ years of experience in the interior design industry, ideally working on luxury residential or high-end commercial projects. Has worked at a design firm and has the know of day to day operations and design process *Design Expertise & Creativity:* * Proven ability to conceptualize and execute creative, functional, and visually compelling design solutions. * Proficiency in space planning, furniture selection, custom millwork design, and material sourcing. *Responsibilities* * Collaborate with clients to determine their needs, preferences, and budget for interior design projects. * Develop innovative design concepts that reflect the client's style while adhering to functionality and safety standards. * Create detailed floor plans, sketches, and 3D renderings using software such as Sketchup. * Select appropriate materials, furnishings, color schemes, and decor elements that align with the overall design vision. * Prepare presentations for clients showcasing design ideas and project proposals. * Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure seamless execution of designs. * Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate into designs. * Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. * Product ordering and tracking * Client correspondence * Design Software MyDoma is an asset or willingness to learn company systems as needed. *Skills* * Proficiency in graphic design software such as Canva and InDesign * Strong knowledge of digital design techniques * Experience with 2D animation is a plus for creating engaging presentations. * Familiarity with construction processes is beneficial for project execution. * Ability to create compelling visual designs that effectively communicate ideas. * Knowledge of the presentation and client proposals. * Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and team members. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage project timelines effectively.
