My Legal Basement Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Architectural Technologist to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for creating innovative designs and a strong background in Garden Suites and Additional Dwelling Units (ADUs), we?d love to hear from you! *Responsibilities * - Design and draft plans for Garden Suites and Additional Dwelling Units (ADUs) in compliance with building codes and zoning regulations. - Collaborate with clients, engineers, project managers and contractors to deliver high-quality architectural solutions. - Conduct site visits and measurements to ensure project accuracy. - Prepare permit applications and liaise with municipal authorities as required. - Ensure projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. *Requirements * - Minimum 3-5 years of experience working on Garden Suites and Additional Dwelling Units. - BCIN Certification (Building Code Identification Number) is mandatory. - Proficiency in architectural drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools. - Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and zoning bylaws. - Willingness to travel to project sites as needed. - Valid driver?s license and access to reliable transportation. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. *What We Offer * - A supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth. - Engaging projects that make a difference in the community. *How to Apply * Send your resume and portfolio to info@mylegalbasement.ca for more details.
