*About us* Canfab Packaging is a leading provider of composite cans in North America, based in Montreal and Ontario. We are looking for hardworking, experienced and dedicated electromechanics to join our team. We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technician to join our day shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electromechanical systems and components. This includes working with a variety of tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field and a sound understanding of electrical and mechanical principles. Requirements: · Electro-Mechanic Certification / 442A · 3-5 years working experience in relevant field · Electrical competency, ability to test and or replace electrical components · Mechanical aptitude, gears, pulleys, belts · Familiar with lubricants and lubrication techniques · Ability to life 50 lbs from time to time · No known medical inhibition that will hinder your ability to perform assigned tasks, which include bending, pulling, pushing and getting into tight spaces while working on machines. · Welding experience is an asset · Familiar with machine shop tools, milling machine, lathes, surface grinder.
