Our client based out of Grande Prairie is looking for a rock star HSE Manager! This company has been a part of the community for over 15 years and have made a name in the oil and gas industry as being a leader in quality assurance and employee growth.
Duties for this position will include:
* Maintain statistics of all safety incidents including internal and 3rd party reporting
* Ensure the renewal of Fleet Insurance & registrations.
* Fleet and asset management.
* Review and manage inspections, record completions and required action items.
* Review HSE files for compliance.
* Document and file driver abstracts annually.
* Maintain safety meeting minutes and maintain action item list.
* Manage and maintain all online safety subscriptions and ensure all accounts are in good status.
* Manage and Coordinate Statistical Trending for the company and complete reports as required quarterly for management review.
* Ensure orientation process for onboarding of Employees and Operators conforms to legislative & client requirements
* Full orientation with employees and contractors.
* Maintain employee safety files in accordance with legislative and audit requirements.
* Liaise with clients when requested to complete safety reviews.
* Submit vehicle incident frequencies.
* Submission of WCB reporting as per legislated guidelines and oversight of the Modified Work program as required.
* Create systems for tracking and trending, but not limited to, Inspections; Job Analysis; Incidents.
* Ensure the Safety Manual and programs within are updated on an annual basis to ensure it is in accordance with all applicable regulations.
* Ensure Emergency Response Programs are up to date and circulated at least annually.
* Maintain subcontractor statistics and provide to management for annual performance review.
* Ensure the company's job specific operating procedures are compliant with regulatory updates and recorded based on legislation, acts and codes.
* Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
* Provide guidance and support to operational teams to minimize risks and incidents.
* Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
* Coordinate safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
* Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices.
* Collaborate with external agencies and regulatory bodies as required.
* Foster a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.

Education and Experience:
* Extensive HSE experience within the oil & gas industry a must
* Education in Occupation Health and Safety a must
* Formal training in OH& S safety program development
* Must have a drivers license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle
* Valid safety certificates: Standard First Aid, H2S
