Humber Valley Imaging is seeking an experienced, certified sonographer for its locations in Toronto on a full-time or part-time basis. *Who We Are?* Humber Valley Imaging is a group of 10 diagnostic imaging facilities currently looking to welcome new qualified members to our team. For 36 years, Humber Valley Imaging has been committed to providing high quality patient care in diagnostic imaging in southern Ontario. *Required Qualifications:* * Current registration with CMRITO * Current registration with ARDMS and/or Sonography Canada * Must have experience/certification in OB/GYN, Abdominal, Breast, Small Parts. * MSK certification is a plus * NT certification is a plus * Graduate from an approved Ultrasound Technologist Diploma program * Minimum 2 years of ultrasound work experience in Canada preferred, but not mandatory * Availability for some Saturdays preferred but not mandatory * Excellent written and verbal English skills (please indicate if you are fluent in any additional languages) * Excellent patient care skills with a customer service approach * Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team * Demonstrate effective time management, decision making skills, and problem solving abilities * Positive work attitude: reliable, punctual, and flexible *About the Position:* * Prepare patients for imaging. * Accurately collect/confirm clinical information specific to the investigation. * Obtain high quality, diagnostic images as per our departmental protocols. * Collect and communicate accurate information through appropriate documentation on images and technical impression worksheets. * Effectively communicate with radiologist, including expedited communication gross abnormal scans that may require immediate attention.
