<p><b>Kontron Canada</b> is seeking a <b>Supply Chain and New Product Introduction Specialist</b> to join her experienced and dynamic team.</p><p> </p><p><b>To get a taste of the work environment at Kontron Canada, watch the following video in French: </b><span><b><span style="text-decoration:none;">https://youtu.be/YQQIQ_8R_yo</span></b><b></b></span></p><p> </p><p><b><u>AN OVERVIEW OF THE CHALLENGES AHEAD:</u></b></p><ul><li>You will actively support bid activities and client proposals by establishing product base costs;</li><li>You will ensure effective communication among all stakeholders to guarantee cost objectives are met;</li><li>You will identify and update cost estimates for goods, report on new product costs versus targeted budget;</li><li>You will stay well-informed about market value and availability of raw materials;</li><li>You will collaborate in the selection of new suppliers with support from engineering, commodity management, and other stakeholders to find quality suppliers who can meet project timelines and budget requirements;</li><li>You will establish and maintain supplier relationships, improve costs, quality, and reduce risks;</li><li>You will analyze and improve supply chain processes to reduce costs and lead times;</li><li>You will collaborate with product development, production, and logistics teams to develop new product launch plans;</li><li>You will support the team and electronic manufacturing partners to meet development product batch start-up schedules;</li><li>You will identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies;</li><li>You will demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to coordinate meetings and conference calls with international partners;</li><li>Finally, you will participate in continuous improvement projects.</li></ul><p> </p><p><b><u>YOU WILL IMPRESS US IF YOU HAVE:</u></b></p><ul><li><b>Education</b>: College or Bachelor?s degree in Supply Chain Management, Administration or Operations Management;</li><li><b>Experience</b>: Preferably 2 to 5 years in the supply chain sector;</li><li><b>Knowledge</b>: Advance skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, MRP/ERP;</li><li><b>Assets</b>: Knowledge of SAP and of electronic industry, mechanical plan reading, outspoken personality;</li><li><b>Profile</b>: Strong ability to work in a team, able to function under minimum supervision, reacts well to pressure, able to manage multiple priorities in parallel, flexibility and communication skill;</li><li><b>Languages</b>: French and English (verbal and written).
