*Job Summary* We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of cargo. *Duties* * Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods over short distances. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. * Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery documentation. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. * Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation. * Perform minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness. * Operate forklifts or heavy equipment when necessary for loading/unloading. *Requirements* * Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. * Proven experience in commercial driving or freight transportation preferred. * Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus for minor vehicle maintenance. * Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely. * Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the transportation industry. * Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. * Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. * Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
