Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Tree and orchard fruit. Tasks: Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.. Pack fruits and vegetables. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Tie and secure plants. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Weeding. Harvest crops. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market. Type of crops: Apples. Orchard fruit. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours. Attention to detail. Walking. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
