WorleyCord Teamco Ltd., a subsidiary of WorleyCord Lp., is seeking: *Journeyperson Ironworkers* To work at our *Pembina *Project in the *Redwater area * *SALARY*: Up to $47.70 per hour *OVERTIME*: After 8 hours in a day, or 40 hours in a week *START DATE: *Dec 10 2024 *SCHEDULE*: 10 days on, 4 days off *HOURS PER DAY: 10* hours per day *PAY SCHEDULE: *Weekly Pay (Friday) *SHIFT*: Dayshift or Nightshift (PREMIUM $3/HR) *ACCOMODATIONS: *Local Position *DURATION*: on going *WORK SCOPE: *Greenfield construction of fractionation plant *Working Conditions:* Full-time, Temporary Employee benefits provided by OpenCircle Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions *Requirements:* * Must have a valid Journeyperson Certification from a recognized provincial training authority * CSTS 2020 Certification * WHMIS2015 * ESC Elevated Work Platform * ESC Fall Protection * Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision * Previous industrial construction experience is an asset *Responsibilities:* * Fabricates structural steel, ornamental work and pre-cast structures on a variety of projects. * Studies blueprints, drawing and specifications to determine the lay out of work. * Position steel units, align holes and insert temporary bolts while checking alignments and joining steel parts using simple torque and hand wrenches. * Attach cables from a crane and direct crane operators with hand signals and/ or radio. * Unload and stack steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed * Know, understand, and operate grinders safely in accordance with safe work practices and procedures * Ability to recognize spool hoisting point and utilize proper rigging techniques and signals while working in a fast-paced environment * May perform other duties as assigned * Complete all required safety documentation * Working at heights and outdoors Job Type: Full-time Pay: $46.70 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Paid time off Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Overtime Experience: * Welding: 5 years (preferred) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-12-10
