<p><strong>Main Functions</strong></p><ul><li>Shop insurance for clients and negotiate with insurers</li><li>Advise clients according to their needs</li><li>Apply/comply with underwriting standards</li><li>Answer client questions</li><li>Analyze client needs</li></ul><p><strong>Working conditions</strong>:</p><ul><li>Possibility of teleworking</li><li>Work schedule that gives you one day off every 2 weeks. You work 72 hours/2 weeks, condensed into 9 work days.</li><li>In addition to this:<ul><li>11 paid statutory holidays per year (+1 day if December 24 and 31 fall on a weekday)</li><li>3 weeks of annual vacation from the moment you are hired (may vary depending on experience)</li><li>6 flexible days off per year (for illness and other) **paid if not taken</li></ul></li><li>Group insurance (Medical, dental, life and long-term disability)</li><li>Employee assistance program and Telemedicine for all employees</li><li>Group pension fund and RRSP</li><li>The salary offered includes a base rate and sales commissions (therefore varies depending on performance)</li></ul><p>The bilingualism criterion is also very important. For English, we are looking for a functional/high level, meaning that the broker must be able to serve an English-speaking client well.</p><p>Having a property and casualty insurance broker's license and/or experience in the field is an asset, but is not a hiring criterion. We offer the necessary training to obtain a personal property and casualty insurance license for candidates with the required profile, but who do not yet have their license.
