Join StandardAero as a Manual Lathe Machinist and become part of a team dedicated to excellence in aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul. Shift Requirement: Must be flexible to work days and afternoons/evenings. Key Responsibilities: Operate manual lathes to machine components to exact specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, templates, and specification manuals to plan machining operations. Calculate dimensions and tolerances, lay out workpieces, and verify accuracy using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-train in complementary skills to support production requirements.
