DNM Contracting Ltd. is currently seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team and contribute to our residential construction projects. If you have a strong background in operating shovels, with a focus on residential settings, and excel in electronic timekeeping, we want to hear from you! *Key Responsibilities:* * Operate shovels efficiently and safely to perform various tasks on residential construction sites. * Assist in excavation, grading, and material handling for foundations, landscaping, septic systems, and other residential projects. * Safely maneuver the shovel in tight spaces and around existing structures. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols at all times. * Collaborate with the construction team to achieve project deadlines and objectives. * Accurately record hours worked and tasks completed using electronic timesheets. *Qualifications:* * Proven experience as a Shovel Operator, with a focus on residential projects. * Strong understanding of shovel operation techniques and residential construction processes. * Ability to interpret construction plans and follow instructions. * Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. * Attention to detail and a commitment to safety. * Physical stamina to perform manual labor as required. * DZ license considered an asset. * Experience with installing septic systems and electronic timesheets preferred. *Benefits:* * Competitive salary commensurate with experience. * Opportunities for advancement and professional development. * Positive and supportive work environment.
