Position: Flatbed Driver - Home Daily Location: Welland, ON Salary: $26 per hour Responsibilities: - Transport goods using a flatbed truck to various destinations - Ensure safe and prompt delivery of cargo - Conduct vehicle inspections for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance when required - Adhere to all transportation laws and regulations - Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions Qualifications: - Valid AZ - Clean driving record - Ability to lift heavy objects and work in diverse weather conditions - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of AZ truck driving experience - Minimum of 1 year of flatbed driving experience - 2 letters of experience required (contact me if you need more information) Benefits: - Dental care - Disability insurance - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Life insurance - RRSP matching - Wellness program Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $26.68-$27.52 per hour Expected hours: 55 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 10 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Overtime Experience: * Flatbed: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Class 1 Licence (required) Work Location: In person- LocationWelland, ON
