Plato?s Closet is all about being fashion savvy and shopping smart. We?re a unique resale store specializing in clothing, footwear & accessories from petite to plus sizes at prices up to 70% less than regular retail. POSITION DESCRIPTION The Social Media Marketing Coordinator is responsible for creating, curating, and managing content across social media channels to increase brand awareness, engage customers, and drive business goals. This role involves implementing social media strategies, analyzing performance metrics, and staying up-to-date with trends to ensure effective online communication. This is an in-person, on-site position that utilizes real-time current in-store content on all social media channels. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and schedule engaging posts, stories, and videos tailored to each platform - Instagram, Facebook & TikTok. Plan and execute social media campaigns that promotes the monthly marketing objectives and brand messaging in collaboration with the Store Owner. Create unique social media content that exemplifies sustainability, fashion, style and value. Research target audiences and platform best practices to maximize engagement. Respond to audience interactions promptly and professionally. Track and analyze social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate would have proven experience of: Creating content and managing social media accounts (profolio or samples required). Strong visual and written communication skills. Familiarity with social media analytics and scheduling tools. Video editing abilities and knowledge on how to produce engaging social media content. Passion for sustainability, fashion and second-hand shopping. High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills and enthusiastic team player. Results driven with a desire to exceed expectations. Must live locally in Kelowna, BC. WHY JOIN US?
