Metal Connection is a leader in processing flat sheet metal components for clients in western Canada. We are currently seeking a candidate for _*CAD/CAM Programmer. *_ *Job Requirements and Qualifications:* * Read and understand customer drawings * Convert and create cut programs for CNC laser/plasma/mill operation using SigmaNEST * Knowledgeable in all aspects of the machine processes from raw materials to finished parts * Understand forming operations and K factors * Ability to analyze and problem solve * Work closely with operators developing set up and tooling improvements * Must employ critical thinking, logic, reasoning and soft skills to work with operators while troubleshooting and problem solving. * Time management techniques necessary to improve programming and machining processes. *Preferred Qualifications: * * Grade 12 education * Recent programming experience using SigmaNEST is preferred, but not required * Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes in a job shop environment. * Proficient in geometric tolerances. * Demonstrated high quality standards. * Working knowledge of AutoCAD Shift hours: Monday to Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm Job Type: Full-time Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * Vision care Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift Ability to commute/relocate: * Saskatoon, SK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Work Location: In person- LocationSaskatoon, SK
