Job details
We are looking for certified sprinkler fitters to join our company. *Responsibilities* - Perform inspections and complete documentation and reports - Perform Service, installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance of installed fire protection systems, including wet, dry, and suppression systems, as well as fire pumps and backflow devices - Ability to assess and provide management and customers with solutions for any repairs - Provide training when necessary *Qualifications* - Member of U.A. Local 853, or willing to join - Follow verbal and written instructions - Read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in the installation - Have a positive attitude, strong communication skills and efficient time management - Able to work independently and collaborate with team members - Ability to lift approximately 50 - 100lb - Mechanical and electrical aptitude as required to work with a variety of hand and power tools - Able to obtain security clearance - Valid Driver license with clean driver?s abstract *Benefits* (Medical, Dental, Life): Based on the collective agreement *Bonus Company Benefits Include* - Company vehicle and company cell phone (upon completion of probationary period) - Company uniforms - Safety boots reimbursement (every 2 years up to $250.00) *Hours of work: Monday to Friday 36 to 40 hours per week* *Location: Ottawa* Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Expected hours: No less than 36 per week Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person- LocationOttawa, ON
