*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer service and safety while efficiently assisting drivers in need. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various types of towing equipment. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in providing roadside assistance and ensuring vehicles are transported safely. *Duties* * Respond promptly to towing requests and emergencies, ensuring timely arrival at the scene. * Operate tow trucks safely and effectively, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. * Assess the situation upon arrival, determining the best method for towing or assisting the vehicle. * Provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly with vehicle owners about the towing process. * Perform basic mechanical inspections on vehicles to identify issues that may require attention. * Maintain accurate records of services rendered, including details of each tow and any additional assistance provided. * Ensure that all towing equipment is in good working order through regular maintenance checks. * Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate efficient service delivery. *Experience* * Proven experience as a Tow Truck Driver or in a similar role is preferred. * Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to perform basic automotive repairs when necessary. * Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions with clients. * Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is required; additional certifications related to towing operations are a plus. * Familiarity with forklift operation is beneficial but not mandatory. * Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
