*Job Summary* We are seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Service Manager to oversee our service department and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and a proven track record in automotive repair and sales. This role requires effective leadership to manage a team of technicians while driving sales through upselling services and maintaining high-quality standards. *Responsibilities* * Manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficiency and productivity. * Supervise and mentor service technicians, providing guidance on automotive repair and maintenance. * Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and high performance. * Answer phones and emails in a timely manner * Interact with customers to understand their needs, provide estimates, and explain services performed. * Handle cash transactions accurately, maintaining records of all financial activities. * Develop and implement strategies to increase service sales through upselling additional services. * Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the service department. * Address customer complaints or concerns promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is preferred. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively. * Proven customer service skills with a focus on building relationships and trust with clients. * Experience in cash handling and basic accounting principles is advantageous. * Sales experience, particularly in upselling automotive services, is a plus. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and team members. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
