Curtis Memorial Hosptial, St. Anthony, NL. Qualifications: Applicants must be eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador; the criteria for licensure are outlined on the CPSNL website (www.cpsnl.ca)Applicants must satisfy credentialing requirements for Labrador-Grenfell Zone.Earned Medical DegreeWork experience is an assetA satisfactory record of work performance and attendanceA satisfactory Certificate of Conduct from the RCMP or local police authority Duties: (Included but not limited to) Running Obstetrics and Gynecology Out-Patient ClinicResponsible for Inpatient CareTele-healthGeneral Obstetrical and Gynecological Surgical ProceduresCoverage of on call commitments for Obstetrics and Gynecology, including weekends and holidays; call will be shared equitably.The successful candidate will work as a part of a Team of physicians and nurses to provide the required services identified above.The successful candidate must demonstrate an awareness of and be responsible for promoting and supporting person-and family-centered care, demonstrate a commitment to safety and partner with all team members to improve worker and patient safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks and implementing improvements.
