*Summary* As a Truck Dispatcher, you will be essential in coordinating freight movement and ensuring timely deliveries. Reporting to the Transportation Manager, you will utilize your core skills in data entry, communication, and analysis to manage shipping logistics effectively. Responsibilities: - Book truck loads by contacting customers and using online software. - Receive and prioritize incoming calls from customers and drivers - Dispatch drivers to appropriate locations based on customer requests and delivery schedules - Monitor driver progress and provide updates to customers as needed - Enter data accurately into the transportation management system - Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely delivery of goods - Analyze supply chain data to optimize routes and improve efficiency - Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other team members - Utilize phone systems and other communication tools to relay information Requirements: - Proficient in email writing and good communication skills. - Must be a team player and cooperative. - Must have basic knowledge of transportation. *Summary* As a Truck Dispatcher, you will be essential in coordinating freight movement and ensuring timely deliveries.
